Sandman had been battling lung cancer for a while. He was a noble dog with such strength and presence, that no one ever challenged him.
He was the patriarch of the pac, and a true gentleman.
Truly a Gentleman for he commanded that respect
From young and old they gave him way
For the old and wise one met.
His grace and stature commanded all
He didn't need to push his weight around
Both young and old gave him his due.
A gentlemand he truly was
No one ever Challenged him
He gave no need for such.
His loving eyes told us it was time

When a co-worker of mine wanted to learn how to handle he stepped up to the mark and showed her how it was done and finished his Canadian Championship at the ripe age of 8. He went into the ring and showed them all how it was done!!!
Sandman had the best personality and temperment anyone could ever ask for. He was loyal, kind and always at your side. He will truly be missed.
