Our European Vacation
May 1 - 9, 2006

     I call it our vacation - but it was really work related as Greg and I took 2 of our girls Tigger and Brin, over to Germany to stay with our great friends at Soelring Hues. Brin is with Peter and Rosie Euskirchen in
Bad Honnef Germany and Tigger stayed with Harald and Inken Neumann.
      We had a fantastic time, we talked Borzoi - non stop from morning till night - oh yeah, we had a couple of beers in there too :). We stayed with Brigitte and Joachim Doring of Vom-Tollhaus Borzoi for a few days.
We met their family and crew - what wonderful friends they have become.
      From there we went to a dog show in Muenster, and I got to handle a dog Jackushim for Inken and Zebede for Brigitte. We had a blast!!!! And it was even better when I won the class with Jackushim. Both Inken and Brigitte were ring stewarting, so were trying to keep their eye on the ring. The biggest joke going around was that Inken was saying that she didn't need to watch the ring as her Professional Handler from Canada would let let her know when she was needed. It was even better when I won the class. Boy did we ever get looks. But what fun. The show was soooooo relaxed, people were coming and going eating drinking beer and just enjoying the dogs. Sooooo different from our shows, wow.
      We can't thank Inken, Harald, Brigitte and Joachim enough for their hospitality. They are truly great friends!     We also got to stay a couple of days in Vienna. Here are some of our pictures. Enjoy.
